Buildworks is proud to again be sponsoring a series of site visits to locations around Miami Beach. The ARC+ Buildgreen program will be moving into it’s third semester for FIU CARTA students starting August 22nd. This semester we will be working with students enrolled in the classes Integrated Building Systems and Comprehensive Design Studio. The students will gain valuable insight and experience by working with local architects, builders, and developers to incorporate sustainable solutions into real world projects.
Ralph Choeff of Choeff Levy Fischman visits with FIU CARTA students at his luxury residential project on Miami Beach. Mr. Choeff shared his passion for mid-century modern architecture and his tropical modern philosophy with students participating in the ARC+ Buildgreen program.
About the Buildgreen Program with ARC+ and FIU
Buildworks is proud to announce it’s founding sponsorship of the Architectural Research Collaborative and participation in the ARC+ Buildgreen program. The Architectural Research Collaborative or ARC+, is a non-profit organization that harnesses the creative powers of architecture and the arts to drive innovative solutions in support of sustainable-city initiatives and eco-friendly urban planning solutions. ARC+ and Florida International University’s College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) have embarked on a collaborative effort to create enhanced educational programs and opportunities for architecture students and the South Florida community.
